Paul grew up in the equipment and heavy equipment business. His father owned a construction equipment company, so Paul was exposed to the industry from an early age. Paul worked for the family business until the mid-nineties. During his tenure, he honed his ability to buy, sell and service equipment of all kinds. He developed relationships with vendors, contractors, and manufacturers from all over the world. Those relationships and industry experience were put to use after one of the largest ice storms on record hit New England in January 1998. The severe storm caused widespread power outages. Following the storm, Paul’s friends reached out to him for assistance to procure emergency backup generators, because of his numerous years in the equipment business. He helped many of his friends install generators that year, and found that he enjoyed the generator business, so he pursued becoming a dealer. Paul believes that the only way to run a business is with honesty and professionalism. He treats his customers with respect and backs up his words with actions.
Jim lives and breathes generators.
